Problems updating ipod

09 May

It's really only primarily used for web surfing, and with i Tunes (it's my daughter's).Here's what's happening: Last Friday night, I was shocked to find out that this laptop only came with 512 MB RAM.Step 2: Click on device button to the left of the i Tunes Store button in the top right corner in i Tunes.Step 3: Click on the “Check for Update” directly without using holding down on the Option key or the Shift key.If your computer is using Personal Hotspot on the i OS device that you’re updating, connect your computer to a different Wi-Fi or Ethernet network before you update.i OS 10 comes with tons of new features and improvements, but sadly, like any other major i OS software update, it comes with its own sets of problems. When I deleted the USB devices in Computer Management, Vista immediately sees that they're "new hardware" and re-adds them, right while I'm sitting there watching. Yeah, I plugged the same ipod(s) into my desktop, and they worked great. A quick fix for my computer work (when my sixteen year old is at school) is merely to delete hs IPOD-Itunes tasks form Windows Task Manager. On the other hand removing the USB driver while IPOD remains in the USB port; followed by removing Itunes from the system entirely, then reinstalling Itunes (as the previous reply stated) may actually fix the problem.

Whenever I plug in the i Pod, now, I get the same error message.

I do get the "sound" that I've plugged in the i Pod, but my taskbar pops up a window saying: "USB device not recognized..." (sorry, I don't have the complete message in front of me). other usb devices like usb mouse and usb bluetooth adapter is working.

If you’re not able to connect to a Wi-Fi Network, and being prompted that the password you’ve entered is incorrect despite entering the correct password, then try to forget the Wi-Fi network, and join the network again.

To forget the Wi-Fi network, tap on the Wi-Fi network from the list under Settings Wi-Fi, select the network again, enter the password, and Join the network again to see if it helps.
